Designed to easily fit behind displays or inside media cabinets, the SW-100-04P and SW-100-08P make it simple for integrators to expand networks with PoE-enabled devices. In addition to a dedicated uplink port for connection to a router or upstream switch, the SW-100-04P features four PoE+ Gigabit ports with a total power budget of 58 Watts, while the SW-100-08P provides eight PoE+ Gigabit ports with a total power budget of 92 Watts.

To reduce service calls and deliver additional benefits for clients, Luxul announced Self-Healing capability for select managed network switches. Available via a free upgrade to firmware version 4.1.1 or greater, the new functionality empowers integrators with two advanced features: Auto-Recovery and Power Scheduling. With Auto-Recovery, devices connected to these switches by PoE no longer need to be manually rebooted when they fall offline or become unresponsive; the configuration in the switch triggers PoE-connected devices to reboot automatically.
