Altronix announces the release of NetWaySP2P 2-Port Media Converter/Injector, which converts a single fiber cable into two 1Gb Ethernet ports providing PoE/PoE+. This allows multiple IP devices to be deployed at greater distances utilizing fiber – reducing the need for additional cabling, equipment and installation costs. The P1MM is to be used with Multi-Mode Fiber for distances up to 550m and the P1SM10 is to be used with Single-Mode Fiber for distances up to 10Km.
