Boon Edam announced their North American headquarters in Lillington, N.C., was presented with a Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certificate during a formal ceremony on March 2, 2022. The ceremony was held at Boon Edam’s Lillington, N.C. manufacturing facility. Patrick Nora, President & Managing Director of Boon Edam Manufacturing, USA, opened the ceremony with a welcome message, followed by an overview of the SHARP program provided by Occupational Safety Consultants Blair Byrd and Bruce Pearson.

Boon Edam announced their North American manufacturing facility in Lillington, NC has received national Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) accreditation. Administered through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the SHARP Recognition Program certifies employers that have established, implemented, and maintained exceptional workplace safety standards.
Boon Edam Inc. Closes 2020 as a Record Year of Security Turnstile Sales
Boon Edam announced that despite the difficult year for all businesses, the company was fortunate to see growth in 2020, selling 59% more optical turnstiles than in the previous year. While most people began working from home early in the year, orders for optical turnstiles, which are typically installed in the lobbies of commercial buildings, continued at a steady pace through the summer and into the fall, indicating a strong interest in creating safe and secure lobbies.
Boon Edam Appoints New Factory Executive
Boon Edam Inc. has appointed Patrick Nora as the new President and Managing Director of the Boon Edam factory organization in Lillington, North Carolina. Patrick will work in tandem with Valerie Anderson, the President and Managing Director of the commercial organization, to fabricate and deliver premium security entrances and architectural revolving doors to customers in the Americas.
