TDSi by Hirsch, an access control and integrated security technology provider, has released GARDiS version 3.3 with enhancements spanning intruder management, credential administration, security controls and data governance.
The update introduces Ajax Cloud intruder integration, basic intruder panel connectivity through the GARDiS controller, simplified credential management and expanded controls for events, users and sensitive information.

Ajax Intruder Integration
GARDiS 3.3 integrates with Ajax Intruder Cloud, allowing hubs, devices and groups to be discovered and viewed within GARDiS. Authorized users can monitor status changes and arm, disarm or manage bypass settings without switching between systems.
Intruder panels, zones and groups can also be incorporated into Cause & Effect rules, helping automate routine security responses and reduce manual intervention.
For applications without direct panel integration, the GARDiS controller can provide basic intruder functionality through its outputs.
Simplified Credential Management
GARDiS 3.3 introduces a redesigned credential model featuring a universal “Card or Fob” credential type that works across virtually all reader and card technologies.
Existing credentials are automatically migrated during an upgrade and can be verified before changes are applied. Biometric credentials and IP lock whitelisting are also incorporated into the unified approach.
The simplified model is designed to reduce training requirements, configuration errors and the time required for routine credential administration.
Enhanced Security And Data Controls
The release provides organizations with greater control over user access, events and information. Configurable password rules, banned-word lists and automatic account lockout features strengthen login security.
New event dashboard permissions control access to live and archived events, while organization-based filtering helps restrict information based on user authorization.
Saved reports can also be kept private to their creator or shared with designated users, helping organizations protect sensitive information.
Platform And Performance Improvements
GARDiS 3.3 includes improvements to event management, messaging, email validation, Active Directory monitoring, user identification and access-level handling.
Performance enhancements include faster bulk database updates and message-queue handling for larger systems. People and credential exports now include organization and department information, while simplified Chinese has been added as a selectable interface language.
Compatibility updates include the latest STid V3 mobile credential API, native support for 32-bit Wiegand readers and credentials, and OSDP readers configured as In/Out readers.
DigiTouch readers are now free to license, while the platform has also moved to .NET 10 to support installation and upgrade processes.
