CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce that it has completed the integration of IPSecurityCenter™ PSIM with the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR/LPR) range of products from Candid Security Solutions LLC, a specialist manufacturer and developer of ANPR application software and traffic solutions.
The two companies have been collaborating on major safe city, Government and law enforcement projects in the UAE to deliver integrated and scalable vehicle monitoring and parking security solutions.
Based on a high accuracy LPR Engine, Candid provides a full range of sophisticated and secure capabilities for ANPR applications, including speed control, electronic tolling, access control, parking systems and red light enforcement.
Formalized under the CNL Software Technology Alliance Program (TAP), the integration is in response to several major safe city, Government and law enforcement projects in the UAE.
The incorporation of Candid’s ANPR range of hardware and software with IPSecurityCenter PSIM allows all license plate information to be analyzed in conjunction with data from other connected systems; such as violation databases, historic video evidence, barrier control and other security technologies.
“Our collaboration with IPSecurityCenter PSIM enables ANPR data to be combined with information from other security systems providing the highest degree of awareness and control for end users from gate house security to the largest law enforcement traffic solutions”, explains Tawfiq Zaki Al Jaja, General Manager at Candid Security Solutions LLC MENA Office. “Candid and CNL Software are both committed to providing flexible, innovative solutions for our end users and we look forward to working together on more projects.”
