New leadership structure and four dedicated Virtual Companies will sharpen sector focus, strengthen specialization and position the region to capture new opportunities.
i-PRO has announced a new leadership structure and business organization for the Americas to strengthen its focus on key sectors and support the region’s next phase of growth.
i-PRO Establishes Four Dedicated Virtual Companies
Under the new structure, i-PRO’s Americas business will be organized into four dedicated Virtual Companies: i-PRO Edge Technology, Video Insight, i-PRO Public Safety and i-PRO Medical Vision of Americas.
Each Virtual Company will have dedicated leadership and clear accountability for its results. The approach is designed to deliver greater specialization, strengthen customer and partner engagement, and align business priorities with emerging opportunities across the region.
James Rothstein Appointed President and CEO of i-PRO Americas
As part of the reorganization, James Rothstein will be appointed President and CEO of i-PRO Americas, reporting directly to Masato Nakao, President and CEO of i-PRO Group.
Rothstein joined i-PRO in 2024 as Global Executive Advisor and has served on the i-PRO Board since July 2025, working closely with the leadership team on go-to-market strategy and global growth.
A security industry veteran with more than 30 years of executive experience, Rothstein previously served as Chairman of the Security Industry Association (SIA) Board of Directors. He was also an operating partner at Lee Equity, a New York-based private equity firm, and Senior Vice President of Global Security Solutions at Anixter International, where he oversaw the company’s $2 billion global security and fire business.
Earlier in his career, Rothstein served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Executive Vice President and Principal at Tri-Ed Distribution, then North America’s largest independent security distributor. Anixter acquired Tri-Ed in 2015.
His extensive experience working with distributors, integrators and channel partners is expected to support i-PRO’s next phase of growth in the Americas.
Leadership Appointments for Video Insight and Edge Technology
Masami Eguchi, current President of i-PRO Americas, will become President of the Video Insight Virtual Company. In this role, he will provide dedicated leadership and focus on a sector with distinct customer requirements and opportunities for specialized solutions.
Nick Toth, currently Senior Vice President of Security, will lead the i-PRO Edge Technology Virtual Company as its President. He will drive the development of this strategic growth area, strengthening the company’s focus on Edge AI innovation and its potential across the Americas.
Strengthening Customer and Channel Partner Support
The new organization reflects i-PRO’s commitment to building a more focused and agile business by combining strong regional leadership with deeper expertise in the markets it serves.
By aligning resources, market knowledge and business priorities around four strategic areas, the company aims to strengthen its position as a trusted partner to customers and partners throughout the Americas.
i-PRO emphasized that its commitment to channel partners, distributors and systems integrators remains unchanged. Existing partner programs and agreements will continue as they are today, and partners should continue working with their current i-PRO contacts.
The revised structure is intended to provide partners with more focused support, deeper market expertise and dedicated leadership across the markets i-PRO serves.
Leadership Outlines Growth Priorities
“The Americas is one of i-PRO’s most important regions, and this new structure gives each of our businesses the dedicated leadership and focus it needs to grow,”
said Masato Nakao, President and CEO of i-PRO Co., Ltd.
“James brings deep industry experience and market insight. Together with Masami, Nick and our teams across the region, I am confident i-PRO Americas is well positioned for its next phase of growth.”
“This is an exciting moment for i-PRO in the Americas,” said James Rothstein, incoming President and CEO of i-PRO Americas.
“Organizing around four Virtual Companies lets us bring sharper focus and deeper expertise to each market we serve. My first priority is to listen to our customers, partners and employees, and to build on the strong foundation our teams have created.”
The new leadership structure and Virtual Company organization will take effect on November 1, 2026.
