Milestone Americas Announces Staff Changes to Keep Pace with its Expanding Operations

Milestone America announced a number of changes to its staff to keep pace with its expanding their operations in America.  The changes include twelve new hirings and eight promotions which includes Michael Gaul who is now the Americas Director of Technical Operations and Matt Fishback who is promoted to Head of Commercial Partner Excellence as well Jeremy Scott is taking the new role of National Sales Manager for Milestone Americas North.

PROMOTIONS

Michael Gaul now the Americas Director of Technical Operations, spent the past two years overseeing Milestone’s Technical Support division as the Americas Senior Support Manager. On August 1, he was promoted to his new director role to ensure the success and development of Milestone’s Technical Teams and operations throughout the Americas region.

He will provide guidance, strategy, and leadership to the following areas: the Technical Services Team, which includes Technical Support, IT, Professional Services, Custom Development Team, Presales Team, and overseeing the Americas Project Manager and the Project Coordinator. Michael is a member of the Americas Management Team (AMT) to assist in implementing the vision and strategy of Milestone in the Americas region.

Matt Fishback was promoted to Head of Commercial Partner Excellence to lead the team responsible for the commercial side of Milestone’s Technology Partner Program and drive Marketplace engagement. His team will also facilitate the interaction between Milestone’s Marketplace activities and sales.

Jeremy Scott is taking the new role of National Sales Manager for Milestone Americas North. Jeremy was previously Channel Business Manager (CBM) in the Great Lakes Region, where he earned Diamond Club status in 2018 (the Milestone global award for its top sales achievers). Most recently, Jeremy served as Strategic Alliances Manager, Americas, and introduced Milestone to MATT (Milestone Alliances Tech Talks), strengthening sales engagement with strategic partners.

Greg Willmarth has also moved up the ladder to become global Director of Sales Excellence. Previously he was Director of Learning and Performance, a role he held since Aug. 2014. He now helps drive excellence in all aspects of sales at Milestone, including sales processes, roles, competencies, skills, coaching, and competitor insights.

Jennifer Hones was promoted to Manager of the Key Accounts Team for North American Sales. Jennifer has worked hard to bring focus to Milestone’s end-user engagement strategies and to modify standard licensing so Milestone can better align with the long-term goals of its largest customers.

Michael Gonzales accepted a promotion to Pre-sales Manager, Western U.S. and Canada, where he will form and manage his own technical team. He joined Milestone as Solutions Engineer a year ago and within that time, he demonstrated his leadership abilities and creative thinking.

Christina Hampson is relocating from the U.S. to Copenhagen to join the Product Portfolio Excellence team as their Product Excellence Manager. She will focus on improving the ease of doing business for Milestone’s partners. Christina began at Milestone as an intern for the Inside Sales Team, now known as Partner Services & Sales Support. Eight years on, she brings solid knowledge and a deep understanding of business rules relating to ordering and licensing processes.

Alex Knapik joined the Competitive Intelligence team as a Competitive Intelligence Analyst. He previously worked in Milestone as a trainer, solutions engineer, and channel business manager, bringing a wide range of skills and experience to the team.

HIRINGS

Barbara Rizzatti was hired as Americas Communications Manager, the primary media touch point for Milestone across North and South America. She will be taking over for Courtney Dillon Pedersen who transitions to a consultancy role based in the Northeastern U.S. Most recently, Barbara was an editor for Decided Excellence Catholic Media. Previously, she held corporate communications roles for companies such as Nike and Mentor Graphics (later acquired by Siemens).

Edgar Milla has joined Milestone as Channel Business Manager for Western Canada. He previously worked at Avigilon for three years and has over a decade of sales experience with high achievements in sales and technology.

Brandon Perkins is the new Inside Channel Manager covering the Mid-South, North Texas, and South Texas territories. Based out of the Oregon office he was most recently employed at local security integrator Omnitek Systems working in sales and account management.

Saul Benjamin Colin-Leon is the newest member to join the Presales Team in Latin America as a Solutions Engineer. He is based in Mexico City. He has many years’ experience in wireless telecommunications for data transport. Previous companies include Cambium Networks and Networking Technologies.

Muhammad Garduño Alva joined Milestone as Support Engineer, to be part of the Mexico Technical Support Team. He was most recently at Citibanamex as their infrastructure analyst.

Nicholas Kyar joined the Lake Oswego office as Software Developer and provided an immediate boost to the development of key integrations. He went to school at the Oregon Institute of Technology and earned a B.S. in Computer Software Engineering. He worked at such companies as Aerovel, Grass Valley before landing at Milestone.

Scott Kruger joined the Oregon office us as Test Engineer to help with testing and deployment for the latest Lenel release. He has many years of Software QA experiences, everything from Software Tester to Software QA Manager and is happy to be back in an individual contributor role for Milestone.

LeeAnne Barnard was hired by the Americas Partner Activation Team as their Sales Development Associate. She is covering the Northeastern region of the United States. She recently graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Jacob Ingalls was also hired by the Americas Partner Activation Team as their newest Sales Development Associate. He will be working with the Gulf, Southeast, and Atlantic Territory Teams focusing on Care Desk, New Partner Onboarding, and Lead Generation. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon where he studied international business and computer informational technology.

Nathan Hale joined Milestone as Sales Support Specialist for the Northwest and Plains where he provided an immediate boost to Milestone’s development of key integrations. He will be handling internal processes and systems. He has a background in events and marketing.

Aaron Oldenkamp started recently as a Sales Support Coordinator. His focus will be supporting Marketplace Chat as well as other generalized Sales Support activities. He graduated this past June with a B.S. in Marketing and a concentration on International Business.

Kelly Green started in July as Milestone’s newest Support Professional providing technical support. He joined Milestone from Cooke Security Group where he was an ATM Support Technician. He has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lane Community College.
