The new Codec Engine attains the best video compression performance to provide superb image quality while providing savings on bandwidth and the recording system.
The UniPhier Platform — developed exclusive by Panasonic for use in its new 6 Series and 3 Series cameras – offers innovative functions like Enhanced Super Dynamic Range (133dB) video dynamic range and 60 frames per second performance in 1080p, delivering outstanding performance even in the most dynamic and challenging lighting conditions.
The cameras have the ability to encode up to four H.264 streams to ensure simultaneous real-time monitoring, high resolution recording and mobile access.
The new 3 Series cameras deliver high definition video images in 720p resolution at an industry-leading 133dB of dynamic range, allowing you to see images that you couldn’t see before. Delivering great performance at a great price, the 3 Series cameras also produce HD resolution at 60 frames per second, enabling the capture of exceptionally clear images of moving objects. When it comes to processing power, the 3 Series models can encode up to four H.264 streams and up to six JPEG streams, greatly increasing recording, viewing and mobile streaming options.
The entire 3 Series line offers 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) and Multi-process Noise Reduction (MNR) to ensure both bright and dark areas are reproduced to deliver best-in-class performance with minimum video noise and accurate color reproduction.
The new 3 Series models also feature an SDXC memory card slot offering high-capacity H.264/JPEG edge-recording with flexible record modes.
