Security.World To Host San Diego Security Show 2017

Yes, there are a lot of trade shows, conferences, and expos in the physical security industry. A look at our industry events page will highlight that statement. And there is so much talk about interoperability and openness. There are standards like ONVIF and the specifications put out by the PSIA to promote such interoperability. But why then is it so hard to see this openness, this interoperability at these trade shows. We asked that very question and decided to do something about it. Security.World is putting together a physical security expo in San Diego, CA, January 25th and January 26th, 2017, that will showcase various manufacturer’s security solutions all working in a live, real-world environment.

The San Diego Security Show 2017 (SDSS2017) is being billed as Southern California?s premiere physical security gathering and is different in one major area over other conferences and expos. The “Solution Wall.” Participating vendors will incorporate their specific products into the ?Security Wall? where attendees can witness various components of a physical security solution actually working together.

Why Another Trade SHow: Why SDSS 2017

  • Don?t just gather datasheets and sales pitches, come experience a complete working solution and experience ?the marble in the machine? as manufacturers highlight true interoperability and open platform capabilities.
  • Then gather datasheets and listen to vendors explain how their solutions can deliver real value.
  • Think of the San Diego Security Show as a ?plugfest? for users and administrators of physical security environments and how you can get the most out of these products to provide an ideal security environment in your organization.
  • The 2-day event will also highlight vendor presentations, industry expert presentations, and educational information that will provide attendees with up-to-date knowledge on the state of physical security as well as where the industry is headed.

The San Diego Security Show 2017 will gather Southern California, and the US Southwest’s, physical security professional in order to actually deliver on the promise of interoperability and openness. We invite everyone to attend and be a part of this unique experience.
