Optex Announces 12 Channel Bridge That Simplifies Visual Verification

OPTEX is expanding its Intelligent Visual Verification solution by introducing a 12 Channel Visual Verification Bridge. This powerful gateway is the new hardware device that allows security professionals to connect ONVIF compatible cameras and alarm sensors to the Cloud based Visual Verification Portal powered by CHeKT. CHeKT announces that Visual Monitoring platform and the Optex Bridge powered by CHeKT are wholly compliant with the Sandy Springs False Alarm Reduction Program. The Sandy Springs, GA ordinance, has been designed to reduce the number of false alarm dispatches. Unlike other municipal ordinances, the Sandy Springs ordinance fines are imposed on the alarm companies themselves.

CHeKT Announces Integration With DICE Corporation

CHeKT announced that it has formally completed its full integration with the DICE Corporation. The Bridge, CHeKT’s flagship product, has the power to turn any alarm panel and cameras into a single video alarm system and an internet of things (IoT) solution-creating a visual alarm verification system for DICE central stations. Installations can be completed by alarm technicians using only a smartphone within 30 minutes. CHeKT and DICE use additional XML integration to provide the monitoring station with the supervision of the location internet status, camera health, and CHeKT equipment at all times.
