Siklu Announces The MultiHaul cTU
Siklu is announcing a new Terminal Unit for its industry-leading PtMP MultiHaul™ series: the MultiHaul™ compact TU (cTU) T201. The self-aligning mmWave radio is ideal for low profile installations anywhere. The cTU condenses MultiHaul rich feature set already deployed in Service Provider and Smart Cities networks, into the smallest mmWave radio in the industry, 6.5x 3.1x 1 in, roughly the size of an iPhone X.
Siklu Announces The Extended Range EH-614TX
Siklu is introducing an extended frequency range model of its industry-leading EH-600 PtP 60GH series: the EH-614TX. This year both OFCOM in the UK and the FCC in the US have extended the license-exempt V-band spectrum up to 71GHz, for a total of 14GHz. Siklu’s EtherHaul™ 614TX is designed to take advantage of this expansion and operate over the entire 14GHz band with a single SKU. Operating in the upper regions of the 60GHz band allows longer distances, as the oxygen absorption effect centered at 62GHz has minimal impact.

City Of Lincoln Council Selects Siklu’s Wireless Links For Its Smart City Surveillance Network
Siklu announced that its wireless radios have been deployed in the City of Lincoln, United Kingdom. These systems provide 14 high capacity wireless data links in support of a modern IP networked CCTV system, primarily to provide surveillance for the city and public spaces. The new wireless network is part of the Vision 2020 project announced last year. Vision 2020 is a three-year plan to build a Smart City improving the city’s infrastructure, roadways and parks and includes investing in a new transportation hub.

John Glenn Columbus International Airport Upgrades LAN With Siklu’s mmWave
Siklu announced that the John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, has deployed mmWave radios from Siklu providing wireless connectivity for a remote building and the airport runway for the purposes of local area network connectivity (LAN, internet, VOIP). The airport, which is the largest passenger airport in central Ohio and second busiest in the state with over 150 flights daily, had a need for a wireless network to connect its Shipping and Receiving Building, which is a detached building located half a mile across the runway.
Over 100 Cities Worldwide “Get Smart” On Siklu mmWave Wireless Fiber
Siklu announced Smart City deployments based on Siklu’s broad E-band and V-band product portfolio have reached a milestone of 100 cities installed. Smart Cities, which were initially defined as municipalities connecting low data rate sensors for water, gas and more, have been evolving to demand high-capacity connectivity at gigabit-per-second speed. This high-bandwidth network infrastructure is needed to support new applications such as video security, public Wi-Fi backhaul, and private city network deployments.
