State and local officials will join L3Harris Technologies, FirstNet® Built with AT&T and the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority) at the Florida Highway Patrol Office in Miami to celebrate the next-generation of public safety communications through the Statewide Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS). For two decades, L3Harris has successfully managed and operated SLERS, which has reliably provided first responders with critical communications services – through 15 hurricanes and more than 10 tropical storms.
Agile Interoperable Solutions (AIS) announced that its communications technologies are not only FirstNet compatible but also provide the one missing link for integrated utilization of the FirstNet first responder network, full connectivity. There continues to be excitement surrounding the national deployment of the FirstNet first responder network and Agile Interoperable Solutions (AIS), the leading provider of interoperable communications solutions, continues adding to its product offerings in support of and compatible with FirstNet / Band 14.
Cradlepoint, the global leader in cloud-based network solutions for connecting people, places, and things over wired and wireless broadband, announced that emergency responders will now be able to seamlessly transition to the First Responder Network Authority’s (FirstNet) Band 14 National Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN). Cradlepoint’s new MC400L2 modem is the first solution with a full range of applications for coordinated response efforts across public and private first responder networks. It is also the first Band 14 solution that —when integrated with the AER product family— features full Unified Threat Management (UTM) security. Emergency personnel and first responders now have a flexible, cost-effective option to support Band 14 migrations, while ensuring reliable, secure connectivity at all times.
