Hidonix has launched ION SDK 2.0, upgrading its infrastructure-free indoor positioning platform with a new Visual Positioning System (VPS), enhanced geomagnetic positioning, and automatic fallback between technologies. The release also introduces machine learning improvements for greater positioning accuracy and updates to the ION Content Management System, reducing navigation map processing time by approximately 75%. Commercial integration for iOS and Android begins November 2, 2026.
