The new U-series models include a selection of vandal- and weather-resistant outdoor and indoor pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras with 2MP resolution. Three new U-series PTZ outdoor vandal- and weather-resistant PTZ cameras and three indoor PTZ cameras are available with a selection of 21X, 10X and 3.1X (optical) zoom capabilities, while one of the new outdoor PTZ cameras is available in a compact form factor.

Panasonic i-PRO and Vaxtor announced a global collaboration for the latest generation of its powerful automated license plate recognition software, VaxALPR, to run on i-PRO AI-enabled models. These powerful and reliable AI-capable cameras can now integrate Vaxtor’s high-performing and easy-to-use edge application — reducing system costs and complexity. With analytics carried out on the edge of i-PRO cameras, the on-camera solution does not need to stream video to a PC/server ensuring efficient operation on all networks, including 4G.
