Allegion announced a new integration that strengthens perimeter security across colleges and universities in the U.S. Allegion’s Von Duprin® Remote Undogging (RU) and Remote Monitoring (RM) options will now extend the impact of CBORD’s card software system for greater control of secondary doors over perimeter access. The integration improves perimeter security by providing
electronic override of mechanical dogging so lockdown can occur from the CBORD interface.
Sielox LLC and Allegion have partnered to provide a unique and powerful solution designed to increase perimeter security at K-12 schools. Utilizing the Sielox Pinnacle™ Access Control Platform and 1700 Intelligent Controllers, K-12 schools can seamlessly integrate the Remote Undogging (RU) and Remote Monitoring (RM) options available with Allegion’s Von Duprin® and Schlage® wireless locks from a centralized location, reducing overall costs for additional network cabling while increasing overall situational awareness and security with comprehensive lockdown capabilities.
Sielox is featuring its latest solutions at ISC West 2018 (booth #7103), April 11-13 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, demonstrating Layered Security Solutions Approach as New Paradigm for Best Practices. A new First-to-Market integration with Allegion will enable Sielox to help improve perimeter security in the K-12 market by integrating with the Von Duprin® Remote Undogging (RU) and Remote Monitoring (RM) options. Using Pinnacle™, Sielox’s premier access control and security management software, end users in the K-12 market are able to initiate remote undogging from a secure location, reducing the time and risks associated with manually touring a facility.
