SIA Names The SIA Women In Security Forum as 2018 Chairman’s Award Winner
The Security Industry Association(SIA) has selected the SIA Women in Security Forum as the recipient of the 2018 Chairman’s Award, which recognizes SIA members’ diligent efforts in furthering the SIA mission and overall commitment to the association’s future. SIA will present the award at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, during ISC West. The SIA Women in Security Forum supports the advancement of women in the security industry through programs and opportunities.
Security Industry Association Announces Event For Women In The Security Industry
The Security Industry Association—as part of its Women in Security Forum initiative—will host a breakfast event during ISC West featuring insights from special guest Juliette Kayyem, a national leader in America’s homeland security efforts. The SIA Women in Security Forum Breakfast @ ISC West will take place Friday, April 12, in Room 1001/1004 of the Sands Convention Center at 8:30 a.m. Learn more and RSVP.
Iluminar CEO Will Be Recognized For Efforts To Advance Women In The Security Industry
The Security Industry Association has named industry veteran Edwina (Eddie) Reynolds —president and CEO of Iluminar Inc.— as the 2018 recipient of the inaugural SIA Progress Award, an honor presented by SIA’s Women in Security Forum celebrating individuals who pave the way to success for women in the security industry. The award will be presented to Reynolds during SIA Honors Night on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in New York City. Reynolds has been the founder and CEO of multiple established CCTV lighting companies.
