Magos Systems has partnered with robotic aerial security company Nightingale Security to provide an innovative, fully-autonomous radar-activated drone solution for perimeter security. The solution combines Magos ground-based radar detection and classification with the Blackbird autonomous drone from Nightingale that can independently respond to an event, acting as a force multiplier for human guard forces. Magos radars work in conjunction with PTZ cameras and the Magos MASS+AI software to classify targets as wildlife, vehicles, persons, etc. to reduce nuisance alarms and categorize potential threats.
Magos Systems has introduced the SR-150 radar, a new radar that is ideal for smaller sites looking to implement enhanced radar detection and larger locations that need to fill a gap to address a dead zone in their perimeter protection.
Magos Systems has introduced the SR-150 radar, a new radar that is ideal for smaller sites looking to implement enhanced radar detection and larger locations that need to fill a gap to address a dead zone in their perimeter protection. The small form SR-150 is an important addition to Magos Systems portfolio of ground based radar detection systems. Built with the same high standards as its other, longer range models, the SR-150 is a cost-effective solution that provides 150 meters of coverage, including up to 30 degrees of elevation coverage and 120 degrees of azimuth coverage. Using C-band frequency, the radar consumes less power than other radar detection technology and combines superior range resolution (less than 1 meter) and an angle resolution lower than 0.7° allowing for near perfect detection of threats in the most challenging cluttered and weather environments.
PSA announced its partnership with Magos Systems, a provider who is reinventing radar. Magos was established in 2008 to realize its co-founders’ vision of bringing advanced radar technology into the security and perimeter protection markets. Magos’ radars have the best-in-class resolution and coverage, offering supreme detection under all weather and lighting conditions even in highly challenging, cluttered environments. Relying on cutting-edge radar technologies such as MIMO, digital beamforming and an unrivalled number of channels, Magos’ radars achieve perfect detection performance for all types of threats.
Magos Systems announced that it is expanding into the North American market with veteran security executive, Yaron Zussman as general manager. Founded in 2007 in Israel, Magos first specialized in advanced radar solutions for the military and defence markets. In 2015, Magos’ technology was declassified, allowing the company to focus on developing best-in-class systems for the commercial security market.
