The new 4K cameras, available in vandal, bullet and turret housings with motorized vari-focal lenses, use super-efficient H.265 video compression, offering drastically reduced bandwidth and storage requirements for those applications demanding high resolution recordings.

The uniview tec 4K camera line offers exceptional 3840 x 2160 (8MP) resolution video images with TRUE Day/Night, 120dB Wide Dynamic Range, and Smart IR LED for any lighting condition.

Impressive low light color video illumination up to 0.003 Lux is produced by an OmniVision 1/2.7” backside illumination technology CMOS sensor with H.265 DSP (Digital Signal Processing) from Hisilicon, enabling vivid and crisp color images in low lighting conditions.

The 4K cameras are equipped with motorized, auto-focus 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens inside housings that are IP67 weather-resistant rated for harsh environmental conditions, with the vandal dome also featuring the IK10 impact resistant rating.

A powerful, smart IR LED light that automatically adjusts the intensity to avoid over-exposure, provides black/white video illumination coverage up to almost 100ft, with the bullet model offering coverage to about 165ft.

As with most uniview tec cameras the 4K camera models can handle a wide range of harsh environmental conditions, with a wide voltage range tolerance of up to +/-25%, lightning surges of up to 6KV and wide operating temperatures ranging from -40^° to +140^°F.

Additional features include Video Content Analysis (Analytics) such as Behavior, Exception, Identification and Statistical; Cloud Upgrades with connection to a univew tec NVR; Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) with a Micro-SD card; PoE power back up in case of DC power loss and many more.
