Calipsa Masterclass

Global industry professionals provide insights at Nov. 18 virtual event

Industry professionals will explore the global challenges and opportunities facing video monitoring operations during the second annual Calipsa Masterclass. Calipsa will host the free, two-and-a-half-hour virtual event beginning at 10 a.m. EST, Nov. 18.

This year’s event will cover topics including:

  • How technology and COVID-19 have impacted video monitoring in 2020:
  • A deep dive into artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Best-practice approaches to implementing Calipsa’s cloud-based false alarm reduction software in video monitoring stations

Calipsa Masterclass sessions will include an exclusive look at the first global survey of the video monitoring industry. The results will enable attendees to measure how their businesses compare to their peers and identify new ways in which technology can improve operations.

Other sessions include a look at the current and future capabilities of artificial intelligence; business optimization tips from leading monitoring station operators in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Denmark; and an opportunity to pose sales, technical or general questions about Calipsa’s technology.

“The 2020 Calipsa Masterclass is shaping up to be a must-attend event for all video monitoring and surveillance professionals and CCTV installers,” said Rashid Khan, chief executive officer and co-founder, Calipsa.

“This a great opportunity for industry members to share experiences and learn from each other. Attendees may listen to the entire event or drop in and out of sessions that interest them the most.”

Calipsa’s real-time, artificial intelligence-based platform analyzes more than 4 million video alarms daily with a 99.5% accuracy rate. The cloud-based software enables monitoring station operators to be more productive by focusing only on genuine alarms.
