Kenosha Unified School District Selects ZeroEyes’ AI Weapons Detection Platform

ZeroEyes has been selected by the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) of Wisconsin to help improve security on its campuses. ZeroEyes’ proprietary solution will identify visible guns if present and send alerts to school administrators and security personnel within three to five seconds, helping to stop violent threats before they occur. KUSD is the third-largest school district in Wisconsin. with over 21,000 students and 4,200 employees.

Johnson Controls Strengthens its Tyco Illustra Essentials Camera Range

Johnson Controls has added four new models to its Tyco Illustra Essentials IP camera range. The new fourth-generation Essentials mini-dome, varifocal mini-dome, bullet, and varifocal bullet cameras, which supersede their respective older models, are all equipped with built-in adaptive IR illumination which enables them to capture up to two-megapixel HD resolution images of objects in total darkness up to a distance of 30m (98ft).

ONVIF Goes Live on GitHub for Open Source Development

ONVIF announcedthat it is now live on GitHub, an online open-source development platform. The repository at github.com will help drive the development of ONVIF network interface specifications. Aiphone introduces the IX Simple Support Tool for Accelerated Configuration

The IX Simple Support Tool has a programming wizard which allows for the configuration of each station’s number, name, and IP address. All other settings are configured to the default values and automatically uploaded.
