CyberLink Corp. announced a strategic partnership with VIVOTEK adding CyberLink?s FaceMe AI facial recognition engine to VIVOTEK?s IP surveillance solutions. The new collaboration will be showcased at Intersec 2020 in Dubai. CyberLink?s FaceMe AI Facial Recognition Engine will be integrated into VIVOTEK?s network cameras and back-end video management software, enabling security operators to receive accurate facial recognition alerts based on both blacklists and whitelists.
ONVIF Hosts 21st Developers? Plugfest in Rome
ONVIF hosted its 21st Developers? Plugfest late last year in Rome, an event that highlighted the continued demand for interoperable solutions. More than 30 developers and engineers from 18 ONVIF member companies gathered for this multi-day event, which featured 164 hours of testing. Attendees tested their implementations of ONVIF profiles along with other ONVIF profile-conformant products. Developers could also test products independently for profile conformance.
