ISS Helps Protect 2022 FIFA World Cup venues
ISS announced that its SecurOS UVSS (Under Vehicle Surveillance System) solution was deployed to protect stadiums and other venues throughout Qatar that are hosting matches and events as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In partnership with the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, Qatar-based systems integrator Gulf Networks Security Solutions and a large, on-site technical team, ISS installed 40 UVSS units at vehicle checkpoints for the eight World Cup stadiums in and around Doha along with three logistics areas and a fan zone to safeguard visitors and make the screening process safer, faster and more efficient.
ISS Announces Pair of Internal Promotions in North America
ISS (Intelligent Security Systems) has announced a pair of internal promotions to further support the company’s growing operations in North America. Egor Lefter, who joined the company in 2020 as a Sales Engineer and most recently served as Technical Sales Manager for Canada, will take over as Senior Solutions Architect for North America where he will be responsible for strategically developing and planning solutions to fit within a variety of customer environments. Prior to joining ISS, Lefter worked for five years as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Honeywell.
ISS Answers the Challenge of Rising Pedestrian Accidents with its Unique SecurOS Soffit Solution
ISS has released its unique SecurOS Soffit Intelligent system that escorts pedestrians using dynamic illumination to prevent accidents at crosswalks. A recent survey, conducted by the Governors Highway Safety Association, points out that most pedestrian fatalities occur on local roads, at night and away from intersections. This fact suggests the need for safer road crossings and increased efforts to make pedestrians and vehicles more visible.

ISS – Intelligent Security Systems announced the hiring of Raheel Ahmed Jalili as new Technical Sales Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Raheel will manage ISS’ sales strategy, alignment of verticals, channel expansion, and technology partnerships. Raheel’s previous roles in engineering prepared him well for the position of Technical Sales Manager at ISS. Previously, he worked as a System Engineer for Gatekeeper Security.

ISS announced a strategic partnership with Captis Intelligence. The partnership will leverage each company’s area of expertise and introduce an automated face-matching solution connected to an exclusive criminal database of 35 million subjects provided by Captis Intelligence. ISS Adds SecurOS Hand Sanitizer Analytics to Portfolio of COVID-19 Response Solutions
ISS has added SecurOS Hand Sanitizer to the company’s robust offering of COVID-19 Return to Work solutions. The new analytics, built on Artificial Neural Network and imaging technology from Intel, is designed to detect if an individual has not properly cleansed their hands in a designated area where hand washing and/or hand sanitization is mandated. Initially developed for use in the food service industry, the demand for hand sanitizer analytics is trending rapidly to meet emerging compliance requirements in a post COVID-19 world.

ISS announced that it has received LenelS2 factory certification and joined the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). ISS’ SecurOS Video Management System now interfaces with the OnGuard Access Control System, providing users with a seamless surveillance and access solution that accommodates ISS’ comprehensive portfolio of natively developed, intelligent analytics.
