Liberty Defense Announces the Sale of its First HEXWAVE System
Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd., announce it has sold its first HEXWAVE™ system to LINEV Systems US, Inc. (“LINEV Systems”), a well-established leader in providing contraband detection security solutions to the corrections and other high-security markets. LINEV Systems plans to use the HEXWAVE unit for client demonstrations and act as a reseller for Liberty with a focus on the corrections and education verticals.
Camden Yards Testing New AI-Powered Weapons Detection Technology
Liberty Defense announce it has begun on-site beta testing HEXWAVE™ with the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) at the Camden Yards Sports Complex in the City of Baltimore. The MSA is a unit of the state government that owns and manages the sporting venues at the Camden Yards Sports Complex, which is home to the Baltimore Orioles MLB team and the Baltimore Ravens NFL team. Beta testing will take place in the employee screening and VIP screening areas of the complex prior to the Baltimore Orioles MLB events occurring during this trial period.
Liberty Defense Welcomes Virginia Buckingham as Advisor
Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has added Virginia Buckingham to its board of advisors. Ms. Buckingham previously served as vice president of corporate affairs for Pfizer, CEO of the Massachusetts Port Authority, held several prominent roles for two Massachusetts governors, and has also held other key executive positions. The Massachusetts Port Authority operates three airports, the shipping and cruise terminals in the Port of Boston, and the Commonwealth Flats anchor development sites in Boston’s Seaport District. During her time as CEO there, she successfully led the expansion of Logan Airport’s capacity, reduced airport congestion, and opened direct shipping between China and Boston.
Major Airport to Test AI-powered Weapons Detection Technology
Liberty Defense announced that it has signed an agreement with The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (“GTAA”) to trial HEXWAVE™ at Toronto Pearson International Airport (“Toronto Pearson”) during the third quarter of 2022. Toronto Pearson is located in Mississauga, west of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada. It is Canada’s largest airport, the sixth-most-connected airport in the world and the second-most-connected airport in North America.
Liberty Defense Signs Maryland Stadium Authority, Camden Yards Sports Complex, as a Beta Client
Liberty Defense announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) to beta test Liberty’s flagship product HEXWAVE™ at the Camden Yards Sports Complex in the City of Baltimore. The MSA is a unit of the state government that owns and manages the sporting venues at the Camden Yards Sports Complex, which is home to the Baltimore Orioles MLB team and the Baltimore Ravens NFL team. The Camden Yard Sports Complex has seating capacity for approximately 45,000 and 72,000, respectively. Testing with the MSA is planned to begin in Q1, 2022 at the Camden Yards Sports Complex.
Liberty Defense Attracts Prominent Industry Talent to Advance its Threat Detection Technology
Liberty Defense announced that it has attracted two recognized industry leaders to its team: Ajay Subramanian and Jeffrey S. Gordon. Subramanian and Gordon will be based in the Company’s newly designed headquarters in Wilmington, MA, just north of Boston, and will be working on the Company’s High Definition Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) body scanner and airport shoe screener, both of which are licensed exclusively to Liberty Defense, funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Jacksta has 35 years of experience with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), the largest law enforcement agency in the federal government.
