Convergint Social Responsibility Day brings together colleagues, families, and partners around the world for volunteer efforts supporting schools and local communities
Convergint is celebrating its 25th anniversary by expanding its global community outreach efforts through its annual Convergint Social Responsibility Day (CSRD) and the growth of its STEP Up for Schools initiative.
On the first Friday in June, Convergint will close operations worldwide for a full paid workday, allowing employees to volunteer in the communities where they live and work. This year’s milestone event also introduces an expanded grant program designed to help underserved K-12 schools improve safety and security infrastructure.
Ann Fandozzi, CEO of Convergint, said:
“Convergint Social Responsibility Day reflects a commitment our colleagues have carried forward for 25 years by showing up for the communities where we live and work. As we mark this milestone anniversary, we’re continuing to expand the impact of STEP Up for Schools alongside our partners to help provide safer, stronger learning environments for students and educators around the world.”
Global Volunteer Efforts
This year’s CSRD activities will engage nearly 11,000 colleagues, family members, and more than 45 industry partners across 37 countries. Together, participants are expected to contribute approximately 60,000 volunteer hours.
Volunteer initiatives will focus on supporting children and families, enhancing school safety, and strengthening local communities. The efforts align with Convergint’s mission of creating a safer and more secure world through community investment and service.
