I assume that if you spent any time in Las Vegas for ISC West, you came back hard charging and eager to get back in the field to strike while the iron was hot from the meaningful connections you made.
Our team was represented well as we kicked off our (and many others) week hosting ISC/SIA’s Got Talent at the ROCKHOUSE, where more than 650 guests attended thanks to the extraordinary sponsors. As it turned out, yes, some of those who braved the stage to karaoke that night did have talent. Our thanks to the volunteers from Nevada and Colorado associations who assisted us with the event along with almost a dozen other state and national associations who adopted it as a meeting place for their members who attended ISC West.
The opportunity for education was pervasive throughout the expo, with a comprehensive schedule of targeted courses. In addition, there were many public events like the Security Sales Sammy Awards which focus on the best dealer and supplier marketing programs in the industry.
The SIA New Product Showcase provided a snapshot of the best new and innovative products and services from the more than 700 exhibiting companies. It was a short-hand guide to what may be trending in the coming year.
I was impressed with the number of staff many of the booths had, and realized ISC West is an opportunity to meet with personnel from the companies who you partner with. In some cases, this is the only time of the year you have the opportunity for face-to-face meetings with those whom you regularly do business with.
Now it’s back to work, streamlining your operation and providing the community you serve with the absolute best in electronic security products, services and applications.
We will be attending ESX in Atlanta June 16-19, 2025, GSX in New Orleans September 29-October 1, 2025, and ISC East in New York November 18-20, 2025.
Happy summer and we look forward to seeing you on the road.
