School Security Conference Put On By A+ Technology In NY

A+ Technology & Security Solutions (A+ Technology) invites all professionals responsible for their organization’s security to attend a free, informative Technology Showcase on Wednesday, June 14th. A+ Technology and its partners will be exhibiting how the latest market products will help shape the future of security and learning for schools. Along with sponsoring partners AXIS Communications, Gallagher, and Promethean, retired Police Lieutenant and Security Trainer and Educator, Joseph Pangaro, will provide actionable guidance on ways to proactively identify and address potential workplace security threats. This special event will be held at the A+ Technology & Security Solutions headquarters, 1490 North Clinton Avenue, Bay Shore, NY 11706, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Representatives from corporate, municipal, and educational organizations are encouraged to attend. Topics to be addressed include a look into the future of security initiatives, how to conduct threat vulnerability risk assessments, how to address weaknesses in emergency procedures, and how to develop a threat matrix to profile and identify potentially dangerous employees or students. See how A+ Technology created an action plan to tie Long Island school districts directly with police departments in the event of any emergency. The showcase also offers new instructional and audio/visual technology geared towards greater student engagement. This educational event is being offered, free of charge, to the Long Island Community through the generosity of A+ Technology and its sponsoring partners.

Program speaker, Joseph Pangaro, is a retired Police Lieutenant from Monmouth County, NJ, whose duties included total oversight of the patrol bureau as co-commander of his division. He currently teaches at the Monmouth and Ocean County Police Academies. He also pens a weekly newspaper column called “Behind the Badge” and has been published in NJCOPS, NJ Blue and the FBI Worldwide Law Enforcement Bulletin. His training classes are typically offered for a significant fee and filled to capacity.
