Aiphone has added the IXG-MK IP Video Guard Station to its robust portfolio of solutions in its IXG Series Multi-Tenant Video Intercom System. The IXG-MK provides visitors a convenient way to call a building’s concierge, receptionist, or security guard directly from the entrance station. This is helpful when visitors are unsure how to reach a tenant or if they are simply trying to deliver a package to the front desk.
The simplified version is designed to seamlessly configure up to 20 systems from the IX Series portfolio of IP video intercom components. The IX Simple Support Tool has a programming wizard which allows for the configuration of each station’s number, name, and IP address. All other settings are configured to the default values and automatically uploaded. Basic Call, Door Release, Emergency Call and one Group setting can be configured after the initial programming by using this tool.

Cindy Ritzman joined Aiphone as its new senior graphics and advertising/public relations specialist. Ritzman, a 20-year advertising and marketing veteran, will be responsible not only for design, but also for driving the advertising and public relations strategy. She previously served in positions as director of marketing and as creative director for several high-tech, consumer and Fortune 100 companies. Ritzman’s strong graphics and marketing background make her a good fit for Aiphone, according to Dana Pruiett, Aiphone’s North America marketing manager.

This is the second time Aiphone has won the prestigious international award. The company also recently achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation issued by the independent, Switzerland-based International Organization for Standardization. Aiphone announces the launch of an entirely redesigned website intended to make information about company products and services easier to locate and share. The new site includes a product filtering page to assist dealers, integrators and end users in finding the products they want or need. Visitors use drop-down menus to enter categories such as system size, key functions and equipment type. The site compares the data to Aiphone products then makes recommendations for the job.
