Arcules announced that it has completed its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification. The process affirms Arcules’ information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the SOC 2 standards for security, availability, and confidentiality. SOC 2 is an auditing procedure that ensures service providers securely manage customer data. Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data based on trust principles.
Arcules announced the addition of its new Edge Cloud solution to its platform, which will address the changing needs of an organization’s video surveillance and security data capture and storage. Arcules announced the addition of Nigel Waterton as Chief Revenue Officer. Waterton has led winning sales and operations teams for more than 22 years, building and managing large, high-growth technology organizations. Waterton is a 10-year veteran of Aronson Security Group, where he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. During his tenure with ASG, Waterton led a cross-disciplinary team within the company.

Arcules announced that it has named Cody Flood as Senior Director of Sales for the United States and Canada. In this role, Flood will focus on amplifying the momentum of the regional sales team, and play a significant role in accelerating adoption of the Arcules cloud-based service. Flood joins Arcules with extensive experience in security, IoT, cloud and video solutions, most recently serving as Vice President of North America Sales for Intelligent Security Systems.
