Integrated security manufacturer TDSi announced the launch of its new GARDiS Bluetooth Low Energy reader, which enables the authentication of security credentials from a compatible mobile device. This provides convenient, fully secure, cost-effective and safer contactless access for security operators and users. Research shows that 98% of security users view access control using a token or card as a constraint on their daily routine, whilst 68% would like to use their mobile smartphone to grant access.
TDSi announced the launch of the new and enhanced version of its GARDiS security software, Version 2.0. GARDiS 2.0 features new Fire Door release and Site Lock Down functions, along with integration with ASSA ABLOY Aperio and SimonsVoss SmartIntego wireless locks. GARDiS 2.0 is designed for use when an end user is moving from a single site using individual GARDiS controllers to upgrade to a project of over 44 doors and/or for multiple sites.

TDSi announces the launch of its new webserver embedded GARDiS access controller. Designed to be fully cyber secure, as well as easy and quick to install, the new controller is available in one, two or four-door versions to suit all requirements and budgets. TDSi also offers GARDiS Extension Modules to increase the number of doors or equipment in the system. The extension units are purchased along with a license dongle to insert into the master unit.

Gwen’s role is a pivotal one in TDSi’s ongoing relationship with its Channel Partners in Northern England and Scotland. Gwen’s career in the security industry started in 2004 when she joined Norbain, working as an Internal Account Manager with the Distributor for over 10 years. Within those 10 years she worked with leading manufacturers.

Lynne’s new role involves increasing the TDSi product offering through its distribution vertical markets, supporting distributors and installers, from Birmingham to Scotland. Lynne has an impressive track record, having worked in Sales for over 25 years and has spent the last 18 years within the Security Industry.
