ASSA ABLOY Debuts New Architectural Door Hardware Products At AIA 2017

ASSA ABLOY’s newest series of Rockwood ArborTek door pulls feature collar mount posts, combining classic wood with modern metals that results in a clean, sophisticated aesthetic. In a marriage of form and function, the wood’s natural grain and color variations make each pull visually unique, while wood grips are gentle to the touch in any environment or temperature. In addition to customized options, wood types such as hickory, mahogany and walnut are offered. A variety of metal finishes are also available, including bright brass, oil-rubbed bronze, bright stainless steel, and custom finishes and powder coats on request.

The new Norton 6300 Series Low Energy Door Operator is designed with a broad feature set to safely secure a large variety of moderate to high traffic openings. Functions such as obstruction detection and power assist help to ensure user safety. A latch boost function provides the additional force needed to overcome conditions that commonly prevent doors from latching to secure openings and minimize air and heat from escaping. Comprising one of the slimmest profiles available, the new operator is designed to blend with the door frame to compliment surrounding aesthetics. A smaller profile also allows Norton’s 6300 Series to fit more challenging applications with minimal header space.

The McKinney SQ314 three-knuckle, square barrel, non-handed hinge can be used with square edge doors and is suitable for applications including restaurants, offices and residences. It is available in a 32D finish, with other options available upon request. This new hinge suites with decorative levers and trim from Corbin Russwin and Sargent, as well as Rockwood square pulls, all showcased through ASSA ABLOY’s The Good Design Studio.

The Corbin Russwin MP9800 Series multi-point lock is intended for applications where additional security and convenience is needed, but exit devices are not required. Available for multiple door types, the MP9800 offers 46 function combinations, delivering a durable design that is flexible, reliable and convenient. A clean, simple design is complemented by a variety of electro-mechanical solutions, including electric latch retraction (MELR), bolt monitoring, and inside and outside lever monitoring.

Mounted on rails or glass door surfaces, ASSA ABLOY’s stainless steel Glass Panic Device is a top-latching solution with an easy-align security latch. The engraved latch lines ensure proper engagement with the strike for enhanced security. Left- and right-handed options are available, as well as keyed and non-keyed, and the engraved push area allows for increased visibility and tactility. Multiple finish options, including MicroShield® Antimicrobial Coating, are available and the post mount design suites with Rockwood architectural pulls.

The Pemko Builders Series flat track sliding door hardware system adds a rustic-yet-modern look and feel to any entryway. Ideal for hotel rooms, office buildings and multi-family units, the hardware complements the Rockwood AccenTek™ Series Formed Door Pulls and is available in two styles of door hangers and two finishes. Characterized by a smooth and quiet operation, the sliding door hardware is appropriate for shared spaces and holds wood doors up to 240 lbs.
