She previously served in positions as director of marketing and as creative director for several high-tech, consumer and Fortune 100 companies. Mission 500 Service Trip To Ponce, Puerto Rico Brings Assistance To Families In Need

Mission 500 recently hosted a service trip in Ponce, Puerto Rico where volunteers from the professional security industry worked on repairing the homes of two families still suffering from the effects of hurricane Maria which caused $92 billion in damage in October of 2017. Volunteers spent several days repairing roofs, siding and plumbing; installing new windows; and removing trees capable of causing additional damage to the affected structures.

Security Industry Association And University Of Phoenix Announce Inaugural SIA Scholarship Recipients

The Security Industry Association (SIA), the nonprofit association representing global security companies, and University of Phoenix have awarded full-tuition scholarships to 11 full-time employees from SIA member companies. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at University of Phoenix. To be considered for the University of Phoenix SIA Scholarship, applicants wrote three essays and provided a letter of recommendation. High importance was placed on the applicants’ desire to advance in their education, with an emphasis on furthering their careers, and their impact in the security industry in which they reside.
