Wavestore Launch Small Systems NVRs Pre-Installed With Its VMS
Measuring just 115mm x 111mm x 52mm (4.5in x 4.4in x 2in) and weighing in at just 1.2Kg (2.65lbs) with near-silent, operation, the A-Series NVRs may be compact and unobtrusive but they still pack a punch. With the ability to record up to 8 x 1080P HD cameras, they run Wavestore?s WaveView client software locally, allowing users to view live and recorded images directly from a unit for day-to-day standalone operation. In addition, users are able to log-in remotely using WaveView client software from their PCs or laptops, or while on the go, via the WaveView Mobile app available for iOS and Android devices.

Milestone Systems open platform IP video management software (VMS) is being used by Aalborg municipality in Denmark to optimize the security levels for property protection. The number of security incidents has dropped tremendously after installing the video system, and the city is now saving more than one million Euros in insurance costs. The Milestone-based security system together with a proactive approach to the use of surveillance video has reduced the damages to property in Aalborg significantly. In the case of the citizen center called Trekanten, the losses from damage to property have diminished to zero from previously being more than 100,000 Euros a year.
