Iris ID announced its contactless IrisAccess biometric technology is being used for employee time and attendance at hotels in Iraq which are part of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, a London-based hotel company that manages and operates 135 luxury hotels in 80 locations worldwide. The Millennium hotels –the Millennium Kurdistan, the Copthorne Hotel Baranan and Millennium Kurdistan Hotel and Spa– are located in the Sulaymaniyah province in the country’s Kurdistan region.
Iris ID Partners with Securiport Poviding Contactless Biometric Authentication
Iris ID announced it has entered into an agreement to provide its contactless IrisAccess biometric readers to Securiport. Securiport’s automated kiosks and gates authenticate people’s identities at airports, seaports, border crossings and other critical locations. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to Deploy Iris ID Technology
Iris ID will provide its biometric recognition technology to the County of Los Angeles to make its prisoner release process safer, more accurate and efficient. Iris ID’s OU7S-AK camera module will be part of 163 Livescan stations in 114 law enforcement locations throughout the county. The new criminal booking solution will bring iris-based identity authentication capabilities to a system that previously relied on fingerprints and photos to enroll and identify individuals arrested.

Iris ID announced the integration of its handheld iCAM M300 multimode platform for biometric enrollment and verification with the FBI-certified Sherlock fingerprint scanner from Spartanburg, S.C.-based Integrated Biometrics. The fingerprint reader snaps on to the iCAM M300 to create one lightweight portable unit for field use. Bluffton Self Help has gone high tech with an Iris ID® iris recognition system tracking the hours of paid staff and volunteers. An Iris ID iCAM R100 camera replaces mag stripe cards, said Tony O’Brien, president of Sourcecode LLC, a South Carolina-based software development firm. He designed the iris system, as well as a computer network and telephone system for Bluffton Self Help.
