Iris ID announced the hiring of Abraham Peniche as the company’s Latin America regional sales manager. Peniche joins the company with 23 years of industry experience with market leaders in electronic security. He is responsible for increasing sales and building customer relations throughout Mexico and Central and South America. Peniche most previously served as a regional sales manager for Carbyne Inc., an international provider of emergency communications products and services.
Iris ID announced that Seyit Ali Kaya has joined the company as the regional manager for operations in Turkey, surrounding countries and Eastern Europe. Manusonic’s software adds a broad selection of functions and features to the iT100 through integration with payroll, human resources, accounting, job costing and other customized end-user systems.
Iris ID announced the inclusion of its contactless, iris-based biometric hardware and software with MetaDolce Technologies’ introduction of the RP70A BIO handheld tablet for mobile identity authentication and registration, manufactured by Gen2Wave Co., Ltd. in South Korea. Law enforcement, border patrol, healthcare and other industry professionals extensively use the compact RP70A BIO, an all-in-one tablet that hosts a dual iris and facial recognition camera, fingerprint sensor, smart card reader, MRZ and barcode scanner.
Merrion Vaults has selected biometric identity verification technology from Iris ID. Merrion Vaults rents safe deposit boxes like those found at banks, but with a significant difference– customers identities are authenticated through highly accurate iris readers to enhance security. Seamus Fahy, director, Merrion Vaults, said the iris readers are replacing fingerprint recognition systems for authenticating customer identity.
Iris ID announced Rockford, Ill.-based Information Controls Inc. has integrated its TimeTerminal time clock app to work with the IrisTime iT100, Iris ID’s customizable and contactless time and attendance platform. TimeTerminal’s cloud-based software creates a wide variety of employee functions and features for the iT100, including customizable attestation questions, daily wage advancements, department transfers and timecard review.
Iris ID announced Kurt Wherley has joined the organization as director of sales for workforce management, North America. Wherley, who has more than 30 years of experience with time and attendance solutions, will develop new customers and support the sales channel for Iris ID’s recently launched IrisTime biometric-based workforce management platforms. Iris ID announced the compatibility of its iCAM M300 handheld, multi-modal biometric reader and the MozaicID iCAM M300 Smartcard Software Credential Application. This application enables the mobile device to accommodate a range of Personal Identity Verification (PIV) compatible credentials including PIV Interoperable (PIV-I) and the Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC), a smartcard used by workers requiring access to secure areas of U.S. maritime facilities and vessels.
Iris ID Systems Inc announced that it has entered into a global partnership with Olive and Dove Company, Ltd. Of the Republic of Korea for smart home and IoT devices, under the Remo+ brand. This partnership will broaden the accessibility of home video security and IoT solutions for the global market and enable Iris ID to introduce new products which complement and expand the capabilities of its existing markets. The strategic collaboration will allow Remo+ to access extensive distribution networks.
