Altronix has expanded its popular NetWay Series with the addition of new 802.3bt 4PPoE Managed Midspan/Injectors and Media Converters. Designed specifically to accommodate high-powered 802.3bt compliant devices, the NetWay BT Series delivers up to 90W per port. New models are available in single, 4 or 8 port models and include battery charging as well as Altronix LINQ™ Technology to monitor, control, and report power and diagnostics from anywhere over the network.

Altronix Introduces The NetWay Spectrum 2-Port Media Converter
Altronix announced the release of NetWay™ SP2P 2-Port Media Converter/Injector, which converts a single fiber cable into two 1Gb Ethernet ports providing PoE/PoE+. This allows multiple IP devices to be deployed at greater distances utilizing fiber – reducing the need for additional cabling, equipment and installation costs. The NetWaySP2P provides up to 30W per port in a compact insulated housing. These units can be powered locally or remotely using Altronix WayPoint562, NetWay1D or NetWaySP4 rack series that provide 56VDC.
