SureView Integrates ShotSpotter Technology into Its PSIM Platforms

SureView Systems and ShotSpotter investigate and deter crime, today announced the integration of their intelligence-based flagship technologies. The integration of ShotSpotter’s gunshot detection system with SureView’s Next-Generation PSIM, (Physical Security Information Management) platform, improves the ability of security operations centers (SOC) to effectively manage real-time responses to gunshots. ShotSpotter uses acoustic sensors to reliably detect and accurately locate gunshots. Alerts are produced within 60 seconds of trigger pull and include the location of the gunfire, number of rounds fired, and details about whether there were multiple shooters or high-capacity weapons used.

Calipsa and SureView Integrate False Alarm Reduction with PSIM Platforms

SureView Systems and Calipsa announced the integration of their cloud-based flagship technologies. The integration of Calipsa’s software with SureView’s next-generation physical security information management (PSIM) platform improves the ability of security command centers to manage and respond to video alarm events.

SureView Systems and Calipsa announced the integration of their cloud-based flagship technologies. The integration of Calipsa’s software with SureView’s next-generation physical security information management (PSIM) platform improves the ability of security command centers to manage and respond to video alarm events.

Calipsa’s false alarm reduction software easily integrates with
the SureView PSIM platform and quickly deploys with no on-premises hardware
required. Once a video alarm is triggered on a connected camera, a SureView
server sends video to a Calipsa server, where algorithms look for human and
vehicle movement before returning genuine alarms. Filtering up to 95% of false
alarms significantly reduces the chance of SOC operators missing or being
delayed in their response to an actual event. The filtering process takes about
a second to complete.

SureView Announces SureView Operations

SureView announced the launch of their new online subscription service – SureView Operations (OPS). This new service simplify the management of Security Operations Centers (SOCs), making it easier for managers to organize, measure, and adapt their operation. The single interface of OPS standardizes and speeds-up response because all the relevant information is already there – action plan, map, call list, available guards, and location information.

Avigilon Announces Professional Monitoring Support For Avigilon Blue Cloud Platform

Avigilon Corporation announced that its Avigilon Blue cloud service platform for security and surveillance will support professional video monitoring through a new integration with SureView Systems (“SureView”) Immix® CS and Immix CC software. Avigilon Blue cloud platform features patented self-learning video analytics that detect movements of people and vehicles and generate an alarm with a short video clip, allowing central station operators to more efficiently verify and respond to potentially critical events.

Industry Leaders To Discuss Cyber Protection For Physical Security

In today’s highly interactive and interconnected world, cybersecurity is not restricted to the IT department – it threatens and affects every connected device in every department. As connectivity continues to expand, the risks will increase. It is vital to understand what the cybersecurity threats are to physical security systems, how protections from cyber-attacks can be implemented and how security professionals must plan for incident recovery and ongoing protection. At ISC West, a panel discussion of industry experts, comprised of renowned executives representing surveillance, cloud access control, biometrics, identity management, and other categories will address these important cybersecurity topics.
