Security industry leader Tina D’Agostin has joined Alcatraz as Chief Revenue Officer. D’Agostin brings deep enterprise security and building technology experience that will accelerate Alcatraz’s go-to-market strategy for its revolutionary facial authentication platform for physical access control. D’Agostin will oversee sales, marketing, and customer success for Alcatraz’s enterprise customers. Tina D’Agostin comes from Johnson Controls, where she most recently was the General Manager of Building Technology & Solutions.
Alcatraz has released a key mask detection feature that can help businesses in states across the country abide by mandated mask requirements while preserving physical security processes. As the country has experienced increasing COVID-19 cases, dozens of states —including California, New York, Texas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania— are now requiring the use of facemasks as businesses and individuals return to work and commerce. Alcatraz AI will unveil the new Alcatraz Rock 3D Facial Authentication Platform at ISC West. Developed by the same Apple engineers involved in the FaceID project, Alcatraz Rock brings secure facial authentication and AI to physical security with the intention to replace or augment access control badges in single-factor or dual-factor modes, in many cases eliminating the need for turnstiles and guards.
