D-Link unveils DNR-312L mydlink Network Video Recorder for Small Business Owners

D-Link has expanded its line of IP surveillance solutions with the new DNR-312L mydlink Network Video Recorder (NVR). This standalone storage device allows for viewing of up to nine cameras concurrently on a connected HD monitor, or remote access using the free mydlink app for smart devices.

Equipped with one-bay NVR enclosure that supports up to 4TB worth of storage and video recording for nine cameras simultaenously, the device provides an affordable surveillance management system for small business and home owners.

“The new mydlink NVR puts cost-effective surveillance control into the hands of small business and home owners,” said Mr Jonathan Quek, Product Marketing Director for D-Link International Pte Ltd. “It works ideally for small business owners who deploy D-Link’s IP network cameras for security needs, and this NVR offers a standalone solution for multi-camera viewing, recording and playback. When coupled with D-Link’s powerful and secure mydlink cloud service platform, small business owners can stay vigilant 24/7 with the ability to record and store videos locally and access remotely via mobile devices or any web browser with no additional costs or fees.”

The recorder supports real-time viewing, playback and recording of up to nine connected D-Link IP cameras without the need for a dedicated PC. With an integrated HDMI output, playback can be projected onto HD monitors for high quality monitoring for nine video feeds simultaneously, and a connected mouse allows one to use digital pan/tilt/zoom functions with the feeds.

For added control and surveillance convenience, the mydlink-enabled NVR also allows users to playback video and view live streams on-the-go using the free mydlink View-NVR app that is available on iOS and Android devices.

This allows small business owners to remain alert as long as they have Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G connection.

Extensive recording functionality and protected storage for enhanced security.

On top of live video feeds and playback, the NVR also provides users with easy configuration of recorded videos, with different options on compression, resolution and frame rate for all connected cameras.

The NVR is able to do concurrent recording for up to nine connected network cameras./p>
