Integrated security manufacturer TDSi announces that it will be appearing on both the BSIA and ONVIF stands at IFSEC International 2019. TDSi’s team will be available to discuss its latest products with customers and partners on the BSIA Stand and ONVIF Booth throughout the event. The GARDiS range was launched at the end of 2018 with the first version of the Access Management Software and was recently updated by GARDiS Version 1.1.

PSIA successfully demonstrated interoperability between five vendors, with its PLAI specification, at ISC West 2019. The flawless demonstration showed commercial versions of PLAI in Johnson Controls, Software House (C•CURE 9000) and Lenel/S2 (OnGuard) systems. Johnson Controls announced that the Tyco Visual Intelligence from Software House, a unique metric-based reporting tool for C•CURE 9000, has received the award for Best New Product in the Convergence and Integrated Software and Solutions category. The award was presented at the 2019 SIA New Product Showcase, during ISC West. Sponsored by the Security Industry Association, the annual awards program is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the security industry.
The National Center for Spectator Sport Safety and Security (NCS4) and the Security Industry Association (SIA) have named Scott Dunn—senior director of business development, solutions and services for Axis Communications, Inc.—as the 2019 recipient of the Sports Security Innovator Award. SIA will present Dunn with the honor at the National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition, taking place at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The PSIA will show continued momentum for its Physical Logical Access interoperability (PLAI) spec at ISC West 2019. Biometrics, an important component of enterprise physical security systems, will also be featured in the demo. Princeton Identity has previously demonstrated its PLAI adapter and at ISC West 2019 we will be showing new adapters from EyeLock and IDEMIA. The demo will be held at the Venetian/Sands Expo Center- Sands Meeting Room 403, on April 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
The Security Industry Association(SIA) has selected the SIA Women in Security Forum as the recipient of the 2018 Chairman’s Award, which recognizes SIA members’ diligent efforts in furthering the SIA mission and overall commitment to the association’s future. SIA will present the award at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, during ISC West. The SIA Women in Security Forum supports the advancement of women in the security industry through programs and opportunities.
