Johnson Controls announced that its Tyco Software House C•CURE 9000 v2.8 and Tyco American Dynamics victor 5.4.1 are the first platforms to be officially certified as meeting new third-party security standards from UL for on-premise commercial security systems. UL- 2610, which provides standards for Commercial Premises Security Alarm Units and Systems, updates the requirements for this technology to include cybersecurity provisions and cloud functionality.

Johnson Controls introduces exacqVision VMS v19.06, with updates that include automatic transfer of video after a server failover, a new access control integration, support for ONVIF network loss recording, improved motion zone configuration and enhanced network security for mobile app users. The latest version of exacqVision offers Enterprise Manager customers a more robust failover solution. In a failover scenario, transferring recordings from a spare NVR to the primary is critical.

FAU Secures College Of Medicine With Software House C•CURE 9000
Johnson Controls announced that Florida Atlantic University has selected the Software House C•CURE 9000 security and event management platform to secure a new building that is part of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, a facility which houses research, administration, and a medical clinic. With C•CURE 9000, Florida Atlantic University can easily manage student access to classrooms and laboratories, which can range from 24-hour access to the building to limited facility access during examination time. In addition, the university needed to restrict access to medical record rooms, the pharmacy and other sensitive areas.
