Finbarr Solutions announced the launch of free face-to-face video consultations with a member of the Register of Chartered Security Professionals. The service is available to any organization that would benefit from expert independent advice, regarding their security requirements and systems, manning levels, and/or security postures. The Register of Chartered Security Professionals was established under a Royal Charter issued to the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals in the UK and was launched in 2011.
Teledyne to Acquire FLIR Systems
As part of the transaction, Teledyne has arranged a $4.5 billion 364-day credit commitment to fund the transaction and refinance certain existing debt. Teledyne expects to fund the transaction with permanent financing prior to closing. Net leverage at closing is expected to be approximately 4.0x adjusted pro forma EBITDA with leverage declining to less than 3.0x by the end of 2022. Teledyne expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to earnings.
Boon Edam?s New AIA Continuing Education Course Emphasizes Entrance Security
Boon Edam announced a new continuing education course approved by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) entitled, “Closing the Gap in Physical Security: Addressing the Entry.” Architects can view this one-hour presentation in exchange for one Health, Safety, and Welfare Continuing Education Unit (HSW CEU) towards their AIA accreditation. Digital Defense Discloses Zero-Day Vulnerabilities in D-Link VPN Routers
Digital Defense announced that its Vulnerability Research Team (VRT) uncovered a previously undisclosed vulnerability affecting D-Link VPN routers. D-Link DSR-150, DSR-250, DSR-500 and DSR-1000AC VPN routers running firmware version 3.14 and 3.17 are vulnerable to a remotely exploitable root command injection flaw. These devices are commonly available on consumer websites/ecommerce sites such as Amazon, Best Buy, Office Depot and Walmart.

CAF Selected Teleste?s On-board Systems for the Docklands Light Railway in London
Teleste will deliver its on-board systems to CAF?s trains for the Docklands Light Railway by Transport for London. According to the contract between Teleste and CAF, the deliveries will take place in 2021-2023, and they will cover passenger information, public address and CCTV systems as well as ultrawide TFT displays of the newest type to 43 5-car driverless light metro trains, the first of which will enter commercial service in 2023.
