PSA announced the appointment of Matt Barnette as its next Chief Executive Officer; PSA’s current CEO, Bill Bozeman, plans to retire from the organization in 2021. Barnette most recently served as Vice President of Physical Access Control Solutions North America Business Unit for HID Global and previously held the role of President at Mercury Security. Barnette is a seasoned veteran in the physical security industry with over 30 years of experience in management and executive roles.

PSA announced the addition of Infrared Cameras Inc. to its network. ICI is an innovator in the infrared products space with a line of thermal cameras as well as multi-spectral infrared cameras and complete package systems. ICI cameras can be set up at entry points in all types of businesses to screen temperatures in less than two seconds. These temperature screenings are important as they allow users to identify anyone with an elevated temperature.
RemoteLock announced it has been added to PSA Security Network’s Managed Security Services Provider Program. The partnership will make RemoteLock’s cloud-based software, EdgeState, along with its line of OpenEdge smart locks available to the PSA integrator network. This cloud-based solution enables integrators to offer managed access solutions to their customers.

PSA announced it will host an education track with sessions during ISC West in Las Vegas, NV on April 9-11, 2019. The PSA education track will be held exclusively on Tuesday, April 9. Members of PSA Committees, PSA executive leadership team, and other industry experts will lead the six sessions that are included in the PSA Track.

PSA announced changes to its Board of Directors. Tom Hagen, chairman of the board for Pro-Tec Design, reached his term limit serving as the director for the Midwest region for the last six years. Boethel, Sampson, and Rivet were all elected to two-year terms in their respective positions. Lanning and Keeler have one year remaining in their current terms but are eligible for reelection next year. PSA is the world’s largest systems integrator cooperative made up of security and audio-visual systems integrators in North America.
