Panasonic Launches 360 Degrees Network Camera With New 4K Ultra Engine

Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa (PMMAF), a leader in video surveillance cameras and solutions, launched their first 9-megapixel 360-degree network cameras for indoor and outdoor use at Intersec 2015 in Dubai. They are ideal for surveillance applications that require wide area coverage such as shopping malls, retail stores, airports, railway stations, parking lots, factories, warehouses, offices, and more. The WV-SFN480 and WV-SFV481 360-degree cameras provide a 360°/180° field of view, delivering very detailed 9-megapixel images with a 9MP 3K x 3K fisheye, panoramic, and de-warped view at 30fps in H.264 for incredibly high resolution at standard frame rates, ensuring bright images under any lighting condition.

EIZO Broadens IP Camera Compatibility of DuraVision FDF2304W-IP Security and Surveillance Monitor With ONVIF Support

EIZO Corporation announced that the DuraVision FDF2304W-IP 23-inch IP monitor for security and surveillance will be updated to support the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF), a global standard for the interface of IP-based security products.

The DuraVision FDF2304W-IP features connection to multiple IP cameras via LAN cable for efficient video monitoring without the need for a PC. The monitor was launched in February of 2014 supporting compatibility with Panasonic brand cameras. With the update, ONVIF support broadens compatibility to extend to other major global camera makers including Axis, Bosch, Sony, and JVC. Expanding the range of cameras usable with the monitor increases flexibility of installation and ensures interoperability with more products for secure investment.

Sony’s New Xperia z2 Smartphone Video Camera

These kits have been introduced in response to growing market demands from installers and end users alike for door entry solutions that maximise the benefits of Internet Protocol compatibility. These convenient kits allow homeowners and businesses to take advantage of IP technology for security and access control by using familiar ethernet points or WiFi to connect computers, tablets and other devices to servers and the internet. Once connected, these devices can be used to control door entry operations, offering convenience, flexibility and multi-user options. Using the proven Videx 4000 Series door entry panel, the kits can include up to 64 call buttons and incorporate a colour camera, with IR illumination and a back lit name window. A wide angle (101° vertical, 170° horizontal) camera option is also available. A dedicated button calls the apartment videophone and provides two way full duplex speech and video communication. These door entry panels are very robust and available in both flush and surface mounting options. Modular in design, they can be customised to include options such as coded access, proximity access, finger print access, additional buttons and information modules. The entrance panel requires a 12Vdc supply and CAT 5 network cable.
