Physical Security Interoperability Alliance Newsletter

The Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) created a video based on the Virtual PLAI Experience, an event held in May of this year, which included eight companies showing interoperability and exchange of identity information relying on the PLAI specification. The video combines step-by-step animation of how the specification works with actual interactive footage of PLAI technology in operation.

Virtual PLAI Experience

In 2019, the PSIA decided to have one of the most compelling demonstrations for its PLAI specification at ISC West 2020. It would rely on a cloud-based agent, which would allow attendees to badge and authenticate at various vendor?s stands who had implemented the spec. As we entered 2020, technical development was progressing well and eight vendors were set to have PLAI implemented in devices and systems at their various booths and suites in Las Vegas.

Virtual PLAI Experience Demo of Dynamic Identity Management Specification Set for Webinar

ON WEDNESDAY, May 20th, the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance is bringing the PLAI Experience to you. PLAI, the emerging industry specification for enhanced identity management, will be demonstrated with eight partners in access control and biometrics, relying on a single trusted source. Seven companies, each operating from a separate location, will demonstrate enrollment, authentication and invoking and revoking access privileges, showing the versatility of PLAI.

Virtual Interoperability Demo of PLAI Specification Set for May 20, 2020

Recognizing that travel will be limited for most industry professionals for the coming months, the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance has decided to bring the PLAI Experience to you. On May 20, the PSIA will host a Virtual PLAI Experience which will demonstrate the value of its Physical Logical Access Interoperability specification to the market. Eight partner companies in access control and biometrics will showcase a cloud-based PLAI agent connecting five PACS systems and two biometric systems relying on a single trusted source.
