New Immediate Active Shooter Response System

Intruder Defense Services, LLC (IDS) announces the release of Guard Safe™. Guard Safe allows existing staff the ability to respond pro-actively and quickly to an attack by an armed intruder. Research shows the average response time for law enforcement to arrive on scene in the U.S. is nearly eight minutes. In outlying or congested areas this time can be significantly longer. This time lapse between onset of an active shooter event and the arrival of police leaves a building and its inhabitants vulnerable for too long.

NYCHA lost out on funding for more security cameras at housing developments because the application was bungled. Connecting the Security Dots on Campus

Adjunct faculty and visiting scholars join the campus for a limited time; corporate partners and parents stop over for a day. Giving everyone access to the appropriate buildings is a challenge that?s compounded when a mix of security cameras, surveillance systems and other security devices have been installed independently. However, feeds from various devices can be integrated and delivered to safety personnel, who can view and connect security-related events. Additionally, security actions?such as turning on a video camera when unauthorized building access is being attempted?can be automated with security information management software.
